Cross Cultural Partner Program Helps ESL Students Succeed
Mission Statement
Cross Cultural Partners (CCP) seeks to promote cross cultural friendships and improve English language communication between De Anza College students from English as a Second Language (ESL) and non-ESL classes, thus enhancing understanding and appreciation for cultural diversity in an informal and relaxed atmosphere.
Events for Fall 2008: - CCP Matching Begins [Mon. 10/13/2008]
CCP will start matching partners this week. When students are matched and approved, they can view their partner information
by logging in to their CCP Account.
- RSVP for the CCP First Get-together [Wed. 10/15/2008]
Please go to our Calendar link on this web page to let us know that you are planning to attend our First Get-together next week, October 22nd. You should e-mail us with your name and the Subject: RSVP 1st Get-together.
- Deadline for Fluent Speakers Extended [Thur. 10/16/2008]

CCP has reached the limit for ESL Applicants. However, we are still accepting Fluent English Speakers through Thursday, Oct. 16th. Go to our On-Line Application Link on this web page to apply if you qualify.
- CCP First Get-together [Wed. 10/22/2008 @ 12:30 PM]
@ Location: Campus Center, Room B Length: 2 hours.
CCP's Orientation for all students who are currently participating this Fall. There will be Tips for Having a Successful Partnership Activities. Most students will have their partner information by this date. Come meet our CCP Team and other students in the program. Light refreshments.
