How to Reach Us

While you won't be able to visit us in person during the 2020 spring quarter, you can still access many of our services

We will respond to your requests as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience, understanding and flexibility. Here are some of the things you can do online or by email

Updates on Withdrawals, Pass/No Pass

All Spring Withdrawals Will Be Excused

The deadline to withdraw from any class during the 2020 spring quarter has been extended to Friday, June 26 (the last day of the quarter) and any withdrawal will be treated as an excused withdrawal, or EW.

  • That means you can take the class again. An EW does not count against limits on repeating a class
  • An EW will not count against your course completion rate for purposes of probation
  • You can use MyPortal to drop a class and it will be treated as an excused withdrawal

Any withdrawal initiated by an instructor will also be treated as an excused withdrawal.

New Process and Deadline to Request P/NP

To request Pass/No Pass for spring quarter classes: Go to MyPortal, open the Apps page and click on the Student Registration icon – then look under Registration Tools and select Change Grade Options (Pass/No Pass). If you see a blank screen after submitting your request, try refreshing your browser to view the results.

  • You still need to use the special Winter P-NP online form to request Pass/No Pass retroactively for classes taken in the 2020 winter quarter.

The deadline to request Pass/No Pass for classes taken in winter, spring or summer of 2020 has been extended to Wednesday, Sept. 9.

  • There may be important consequences that you should consider before you request Pass/No Pass. Learn more on our Pass/No Pass webpage and contact your counselor if you have questions.
