One Toy, One Kid, One Smile Toy Drive

Please join De Anza's Puente Project students in their 7th Annual Holiday Toy Drive!

Give the gift of joy to kids this season by donating a toy for delivery to Sacred Heart Community Services in San Jose. 

Collection Deadline and Location

Bring your unwrapped toy for donation to the Student Success & Retention Services Desk or Puente Office in the Registration & Student Services Building, 2nd Floor, by Thursday, Dec. 11.

With your help, the Sacred Heart Community Services Toy Box will provide 5,500 local children with a joyful holiday season.

Types of Toys to Donate

Please donate a new, unwrapped toy on this list:

  • infant toys
  • gift certificates
  • tricycles/bicycles 
  • bike helmets and locks
  • Legos / building blocks
  • Fisher-Price toys
  • Playskool toys
  • books ages 1-16
  • toy trucks
  • digital music players
  • new clothing
  • hair accessories
  • hair dryers / curling irons
  • jewelry: earrings / necklaces
  • *Note: During this season of peace, please no toy guns or toys that promote violence*

In addition to collecting toys, the Puente students will volunteer as a group later in December to assist with toy distribution to families.
