Learn how to respond effectively to an animal medical emergency. Maintain viability, minimize suffering, prevent further injury and continue effective treatment while transporting the animal to the vet. Responders dealing with an animal medical emergency are dependent upon their own skills, knowledge and resources. Prior preparation and planning is the key to an effective response. The class covers a wide range of injuries and illnesses and focuses on stabilization of many kinds of animals. Please do not bring your pet.
