I am going into my third year here at De Anza and hope to transfer in the Fall of 2025. The STEM field is such a difficult field, especially for the Undocumented, Latinx/Hispanic, first-generation community so having a community like UndocuSTEM is important for me to be a part of by supporting students. By being the PR & Outreach Coordinator this school year I hope to provide as much academic and personal support as I can possibly can to our students by finding ways to collaborate with on-campus and outside off-campus organizations to give undocumented students the opportunity to be a part of research programs that can help within the [STEM] field of interest. I am excited to work with the UdocuSTEM team and to see how our community continues to grow this school year.
