Publishing New Pages

• When creating and publishing a new page, always check that the page has formatted correctly according to the template and proofread it one more time before linking to it from the Left Navigation menu or other pages.

Creating Links

• When linking to a web page outside www.deanza.edu, set up the page to open in a new window.

Images

• Make your image files as small as possible by saving them at a 72 dpi resolution before uploading to the production image folder.
• Size your images for your page layout before uploading to the production image folder.
