Drop-in Tutoring

Drop-in tutoring is ideal if you need short-term help or if you have brief questions for a tutor. The time limit for drop-in tutoring is 30 minutes per session. To use drop-in tutoring, first submit a Tutee Application.

• No appointment is necessary for tutoring in S-43 (Math, Science, Engineering, and CIS). For drop in tutoring hours, see the S-43 drop-in tutoring schedule.
• For drop-in tutoring in L-47 (English, ESL, Foreign Language, Social Science, Business and Accounting), sign up for a 30 minute session on the day you need a tutor. For drop-in tutoring hours, see the L-47 drop-in tutoring schedule.
• Drop-in tutoring for English/ESL/speech and writing for any De Anza course is mainly located in the Writing and Reading Center (WRC) in ATC-309 in the Advanced Technology Center. The WRC is open from 8 am - 4 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, 11 am - 7 pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 8:30 am - 12 noon on Fridays. Drop-in tutoring is available in L-47 on Monday and Tuesday evenings and Wednesday and Thursday mornings, when the WRC is closed.
