Transfer Credit Guides: Unofficial Transfer Course/Credit Equivalencies

Many independent/private and out-of-state colleges and universities publish transfer guides or post online transfer course/credit equivalency information to provide prospective students with general information regarding transferable coursework. However, transfer course/credit equivalencies are constantly updated and are subject to change without notice.

NOTE: The online transfer guides and transfer course equivalencies for the four-year colleges and universities listed below are for general advising purposes only and do not constitute official articulation agreements with De Anza College. There is no guarantee of an award of transfer credit.

It is important to carefully read and understand each college's or university's transfer credit policy.  Final determination for all transferable coursework rests with the individual college or university admissions office or appropriate academic department. Official evaluation of transferable courses from De Anza College usually does not occur until after receipt of an admission application and all necessary documents are submitted to the transfer institution.

The following is a list of college web sites, which may include unofficial transfer course equivalencies for De Anza College courses. The list is not representative of all independent/private and out-of-state institutions that award transfer credit for coursework completed at De Anza College.

Students should consult with a De Anza College counselor or academic adviser and/or from the prospective four-year university to confirm your choice of classes and to develop an education plan for transfer.

Visit the Meet with a Counselor page to view the academic services available through the De Anza College Counseling & Advising Center or stop by the Counseling & Advising Center located on the 2nd floor of the Student & Community Services Building during hours of operation.
