TAA Overview: Cogswell Polytechnical College

Minimum number of transferable units required to sign TAA: 12 CSU transferable quarter units completed
- Only courses with "C" grades or higher may apply to the minimum 12 units, but all CSU transferable coursework will be calculated towards the GPA.
Minimum number of units required to complete TAA: 45 CSU transferable quarter units
- Only courses with "C" grades or higher may apply to the minimum 45 units, but all CSU transerable coursework will be calculated towards the GPA.
- Forty-five (45) units must include a "C" or better in EWRT 1A and MATH 49A or (MATH 41 and 52). Students may also provide De Anza assessment results showing eligibility for MATH (49B or 43) or higher. At least 12 units must be taken at De Anza College or Foothill College.
Minimum GPA required to sign TAA: 2.5
- All major preparation courses taken prior to transfer must be completed with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

- Minimum GPA requirement must be maintained through the end of spring for fall transfer and by the end of fall for spring/summer transfer.
- All major preparation courses taken prior to transfer must be completed with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Must maintain good academic standing (2.0 GPA or higher) during your last full term of attendance before transfer.
TAA available to International Students? Yes, but students who have completed course work at a post-secondary institution outside the U.S. are not eligible for the TAA.
Additional Information:
- Students who wrote or plan to write a TAA with a CSU or another independent institution are not eligible.
- Students who have foreign/international coursework are not eligible.
- Application fee and essay will be waived for students with an approved TAA.
- TAA final approval is subject to a portfolio review (Digital Arts & Animation and Digitial Audio Technology Programs only).

Fall: January 31 prior to transfer term
Spring: June 30 prior to transfer term
