Transfer Planning |
Transfer Advising and Articulation Information for Independent/Private/Out-of-State Colleges and UniversitiesDe Anza College has established official articulation agreements with regionally accredited four-year universities (in and outside of California). There is also a list of unofficial transfer course equivalencies (not official articulation agreements) with out-of-state institutions and additional transfer links available on this page. Students are advised to meet with a De Anza College counselor or academic advisor to develop an Education Plan and to determine admission and course requirements for successful transfer to an independent/private college or university or an out-of-state institution. What is articulation? For transfer planning purposes at De Anza College, articulation is a formal, written agreement that identifies courses (or sequence of courses) at a "sending" institution that are comparable to, or acceptable in lieu of, specific course requirements at a "receiving" institution. Unless otherwise stated, the agreements and unofficial transfer course equivalencies listed below show how De Anza College (sending institution) courses may articulate with specified colleges/universities (receiving institution). Resources online and at De Anza College are designed to assist you in getting as accurate information as possible. This information changes frequently, however, and can impact your admission to the university. It is highly advised that you meet periodically with advisors at both De Anza College and at the prospective university to confirm your choice of classes and develop an educational plan. |
