An effective Sustainability Management Plan (SMP) identifies, documents and maintains procedures that relate directly to all of the sustainability issues that are relevant to the college's operations, strategic planning process and financial management.
This begins with an environmental assessment to identify campus activities that have beneficial or negative impact on the environment. Risks and opportunities may be identified so that processes may be designed and measured for continual improvement.
A group of students, faculty and staff began the raw data assessment in spring 2006 so that sustainability priorities for the college could be decided.
Read the raw data from the initial observations of the audit team by downloading the Appendix B of the SMP.
