LSC Recording

The Listening and Speaking center offers students and faculty three recording rooms with the ability to record live practice speech sessions using high quality microphones and pan/tilt video cameras. 

 

 

How to Sign Up:

• Faculty members and tutors/students should reserve a room for a recording session in advance by calling the LSC at (408) 864-5385 or in person at L 47.
• Our assistants will give you instructions and help to set up the recording session.
• Please bring your own VHS tape, DVD disk, or USB stick (max 4GB).

Description:   The high-tech equipment is controlled by a single control panel that adjusts the camera angle and starts/stops the recordings.
You can record your session on VHS tape, DVD disc, USB Stick, USB hard drive or directly to your iPhone!
After the recording finishes, you have the option to review the recording right away or take the recording with you.
