Enabling Cookies/Pop-ups, JavaScript, and other issues

Make sure your computer is updated to the correct Daylight Savings Timezone by downloading your operating system's latest update/security patches. See your computer's help system for additional information about system updates.

The latest version of Mozilla Firefox is highly recommended to use the Foothill-De Anza application and registration system (fewest number of errors reported). The system has been tested with success on Internet Explorer 6.0. Safari has produced minor errors in content display. Netscape and the new IE 7.0 have not been tested.

• Note: If you are connecting to the registration system behind a proxy (many times this is the case with large corporations), your network's security settings may not allow you to connect to the system. The system will display an error similar to "Cookies need to be enabled". Unfortunately, we have not found a solution to this problem. The phone registration system is another option to consider.

• Note: The application/registration system has not been tested on the new Windows Vista operating system.

Apple computer users:
Microsoft is no longer supporting Internet Explorer for Apple computers. If you are using Mac OS 9, you may still use the latest version of Internet Explorer, but Microsoft is no longer providing downloads of that browser version.

It is recommended that Apple users upgrade to Mac OS X and use either Firefox or Safari RSS.
