Firefox 3.x:

From the main menu, use this path: Tools > Options (WinXP, Linux) or Firefox > Preferences (Mac OS X)

Under the main tab "Privacy", make sure that the History is configured so that Firefox will: Remember History or Use custom setting for history. In the latter, you will also want to make sure that the checkbox Accept cookies from site is checked.

Firefox 2.x

From the main menu, use this path: Tools > Options (WinXP, Linux) or Firefox > Preferences (Mac OS X)

Under the main tab "Privacy" and the sub-tab "Cookies", make sure that the boxes next to "Accept cookies from sites is checked.

Firefox 1.x:

From the main menu, use this path: Tools > Options (WinXP, Linux) or Firefox > Preferences (Mac OS X)

Under the main tab "Privacy" and the sub-tab "Cookies", make sure that the boxes next to "Allow sites to set Cookies" and "for the originating site only" are checked.
