Enabling Cookies/Pop-ups, JavaScript and Other Issues

Make sure your computer is updated by downloading your operating system's latest update/security patches. See your computer's help system for additional information about system updates.

The latest version of Mozilla Firefox is highly recommended for using the Foothill-De Anza online application and registration system (fewest number of errors reported).

The system has been tested with success on Internet Explorer 6.0 and 7.0 and Safari.

• Note: If you are connecting to the registration system behind a proxy (many times this is the case with large corporations), your network's security settings may not allow you to connect to the system. The system will display an error similar to "Cookies need to be enabled". Unfortunately, we have not found a solution to this problem.

Recommended Browsers:

Mozilla Firefox Free download for Windows (7, Vista, XP, 2000, Me, 98), Mac OS X (10.2 and later), and Linux/Unix based systems.

Other browsers:
Safari (Mac OS X, Windows Vista, Windows XP)
Internet Explorer, version 7 and above (Windows only)

The following instructions cover the major settings and are meant to be a guide. Use the "Help" menu in your browser to learn more about settings and security.

Before changing any of your preferences, you may want to take note of your current settings. This will enable you to return to your original settings after using the registration system.
