Prerequisites:

(See general education pages for the requirement this course meets.) Prerequisite: English Writing 211 and Reading 211 (or Language Arts 211), or English as a Second Language 272 and 273 ; plus corequisite lab classes in each case; or equivalent placement into English Writing 1A.

Course Description:

Introduction to the writing of fiction, poetry, drama, and creative nonfiction, through both critical analysis and intensive practice.
