Course Description:Introduction to physical and chemical oceanography, marine animals, marine plants, and marine ecology with major emphasis on natural history of marine life. Bays, estuaries and open oceans are described as habitats. Marine biology as a branch of the biological sciences, employs the scientific method. (Includes two Saturday field trips.)
