Steps for Graduating High School Seniors

Get started now!

Students planning to enroll for fall classes should use the summer application for admission. Register for Coun 200: Orientation to College in the summer for the July 22 or earlier sessions and get early fall registration. Follow the steps below. ↓

STEP	ACTION	DESCRIPTION
1	Complete the online application	Apply for summer admission (starting Feb. 22)
2	Make an appointment to take Math and English placement tests	Take placement tests a minimum 3 weeks before taking Counseling 200 (see Step 4). For full details, visit the Assessment Center website. Be sure to review the Placement Test Checklist so that you can be PREPARED!
3	Register for COUN 200	Register for Coun 200: Orientation to College in the summer for the July 22 or earlier sessions and get early fall registration.
4	Register online for classes and pay your fees	See How to Register for classes.
5	Go to your classes!	Summer session begins July 1 Fall quarter begins Sept. 23.
6	Use all the great services available to De Anza students!	Get your student ID DASB card Order your VTA Eco Pass Apply for Financial Aid Go green and save money. Use our Bookstore textbook rental program. Need a computer? Apply for the Recycled Computers for Students Scholarship Join one of our Learning Communities for a successful start in college!
