A: No, most students who attend De Anza before attending a university are more successful.

A: No, De Anza has guaranteed admission into 13 four-year colleges: CSU East Bay, CSU Monterey, San Jose State, UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC Merced, UC Riverside, UC Santa Cruz, UC San Diego, Kettering, Santa Clara University, University of the Pacific and the National Hispanic University.
Q: How many units will I need to transfer under guaranteed admission?
A: A minimum of 45 transferable units are required to start and 84 to 90 transferable at the time of transfer.
Q: How do I get scheduled for a placement test?
A: Our Assessment Center conducts English and Math placement tests. Most tests are provided by appointment during specified times.
