A Message from your Instructor
Hi everyone! Welcome to Meteorology 10 online!

This online class will be held on Catalyst ( and will be available to you starting on January 6th. In the meantime, a copy of the syllabus for Meteorology 10 is available on my faculty website, which is You can also read a little bit about my background there as well.

To prepare yourself for the rest of the quarter, you should make sure you read and understand every word of the syllabus from beginning to end and complete your online orientation as soon as possible, but no later than the end of the first week. This is always important to do for any college class you take, but reading and understanding the syllabus is even more important (actually quite urgent) in a distance learning course for many different reasons, all of which the syllabus and online orientation will tell you about once you read them.

There will be no in-person meetings for this course. Everything about this course will be completed online. If you have any questions after reading over the class syllabus, completing this orientation, or at any time during the quarter, please do not hesitate to email me at I will always be available to help you and I respond to email very quickly just for that reason. I look forward to a very productive and exciting quarter for each of you this Winter 2014! See you online!
Hours of Study
