A Message from your Instructor

Read this FIRST, your status in this class may be impacted:

  1. This is an online course - most assignments, quizzes and exams will be performed from a computer with an appropriate browser, connected to the internet (broadband [CABLE/DSL] recommended). However, there are four (4) Democracy in Action assignments, that although will be turned in online, will require you to interact with others (friends, relatives) on your own time.
  2. No attendance is required or scheduled on campus, unless you choose to visit with the instructor during his on campus office hours).
  3. ENROLLED STUDENTS: The linked Syllabus and all other information specific to this course will be found on the course website - you can only gain access IF you are enrolled. Whether enrolled (or just interested), you may go to the following URL for instructions on how to access the virtual classroom and also view additional information on my syllabus from the Syllabus page. Go here: the course syllabus
  4. WAIT LISTED STUDENTS: Please see my syllabus for more information, but essentially will take add code requests from waitlisted students ONLY Friday, April 5 between 10 AM and 12 PM via email. Additional add codes could be available if people drop the course by the end of the first week of classes. It is not likely that someone who is not on the waitlist will get an add code. You may not add the class until the first week of classes.
