A Message from your Instructor
Welcome to EWRT 1B, an online Reading, Writing and Research course. You find all of the writing assignments, discussion forums, online course materials, weekly lessons, and quizzes on this site. You can communicate with me through this site and by email. I check in online at the beginning and ending of each workday (approximately 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.) Monday-Friday, at a minimum.
Refer to your syllabus carefully each week to understand the expectations and requirements for each assignment. Also check there for course policies and a course schedule. You are held accountable for every detail included on the syllabus. Read all of the required materials for each week and complete all assignments. Assignments are due each week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday nights before midnight (by 11:55 p.m.). Weekly assignments usually include the following: -Mondays: Respond to classmates' journal entries and essay assignments posted last week -Wednesdays: Finish reading course materials for the week and take the quiz -Fridays: Post your journal entry and essay assignments AND look ahead to the reading and assignments due next week so you don't fall behind
