The Library welcomes donations of library materials that enhance the Library's ability to support the teaching and learning missions of De Anza College. If you wish to donate materials to the Library, contact Tracy Lam, Acquisitions Technician via email, firstname.lastname@example.org, or by phone at (408) 864-8439. If you have only a few books (less than 2 bags full), you may drop them off at the Circulation Desk at any time.

What happens to my books after I donate them?
The Library staff will review all donations and add to the collection any materials that have current application to the research and learning needs of its users. Those that are not selected will be placed in our annual library book sale.
Tax receipt procedures:
Any list of donated items must be completed by the donor in advance if it is desired. We are not able to provide a tax receipt which places a value on the donated books, but for tax purposes, a form or letter will be supplied to the donor noting the number of paperback and hard cover books received.
Beyond books and materials...
Beyond books and materials, the Learning Center Endowment Fund is part of the Foothill-De Anza Foundation. Monetary donations on behalf of the library can be made through this fund. Thank you for interest in donating to the De Anza Library.
