Lunar New Year 2006
| Celebrating The Year of the Dog |
|
The Lunar New Year begins on the first new moon of the new year. For many Asian families in the
Far East and around the world, the Lunar New Year is a celebration of change. The New Year rings in
all of the good and ends all of the bad. It is a time to renew oneself. More importantly, the Lunar New
Year brings hope.
On Tuesday, February 14, 2006, the ISP office celebrated its own Lunar New Year. Our program included
performances with the 'Lion Dance & Drum', as well as Vietanamese singing and dancing.
A variety of Asian cusine was served along with Korean specialty drinks. What a celebration! Gung Hey Fat Choi!
