Classified Professionals 2012 Retreat

All De Anza College and FHDA Central Services Classified Professionals Are Invited!

Time: 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Place: Conference Room A+B

Reminders to retreat participants:

  • In order to keep to our budget and to be mindful of our colleagues in the kitchen, breakfast and lunch will be provided for those who pre-register! Dining Services is available for those who do not pre-register.
  • Many workshop sessions are very active, therefore, wear comfortable shoes and clothing that will allow full participation in exercise activities.

Raffle donation request:

We are looking for raffle items for the Classified Retreat. A little spring-cleaning could result in an item or two to re-gift. Please contact LaDonna, Marilyn or Carmen at De Anza, and Annette at Central Services if you have a new item or gift card in the $15 and above range to donate.

iCARE:  Offer opportunities to create personal strategies and techniques for dealing with stress and adversity through challenging times. A selection of workshops will be offered addressing stress reduction through self-care and self-empowerment through information.


iCOUNT: The role of many Classified Professionals is to take care of others.  This day is for taking care of one’s self.   

iCONNECT: The day will be spent reconnecting with colleagues from both the De Anza campus and Central Services and creating community amongst Classified Professionals. Staff will spend productive time away from the office to refresh and recharge with colleagues in a fun, relaxed and supportive environment.

15 minute chair massage appointments:


You will be asked to select your first and second choice for a massage appointment.  Take a moment and review the program (see link above) prior to opening the registration link. The times you will be asked to choose from are:


Session 1: 10:15-11:15

Session 2: 12:45-1:45

Session 3: 2:00-3:00 PM


Appointments are not guaranteed and are first-come, first-scheduled.  You will be notified prior to the retreat of your scheduled appointment time.
