getting started
Make sure you have your own e-mail address and access to the Internet.
Send me a short e-mail introducing yourself. I will send a reply.

That way we know for
certain that we are connected by e-mail.
Plan to attend our class orientation on
Wednesday, April 16, 2008, 6:00-7:00 PM
The orientation will be in the De Anza College Library, 2nd floor, Internet Lab.
The orientation is optional, however, it will be our only class meeting.
We will use the time to talk about the assignments and begin working on Assignment #1.
If 6:00 PM is too early, come as soon as you can. If you have
another class and can stay only l/2 hour, that is fine. I
will be in the lab until 7:00 PM that evening.
Practice using the links located on the upper left side of this page. Do they all work?
Begin working on Assignment #1.
When you have completed Assignment #1, e-mail it to me before you begin working on Assignment #2.
I will correct and return assignments within 2-3 days.
Please do not wait and send me all five assignments at one time.
Send me one, then I can return it to you with feedback and corrections.
please note:
do not send your assignments as Attachments.
I will not grade them unless they are sent in the body of an email.
please note:
if you register for this class but do not turn in any assignments, nor
do you contact me, you will receive an F grade. It is the responsibility
of the student to drop this distance learning class.
