“I always supported the students and tried to make the process of getting into the Nursing Program a little easier by offering moral support and listening to their stories. I also supported our full- and part-time instructors and the director. Before working in this position, I worked in the Biological and Health Sciences Division Office. After that, I did the screening and evaluation for entrance into the Nursing Program.”

Plans for retirement
“My husband Tony and I will travel a lot. Our first trip will be to see the fall colors in New Hampshire and Maine. Other trips will include Hawaii, the Eastern Caribbean and Arizona. In addition, I plan to head an organization at my church, be a docent at Filoli on the Peninsula and also take classes. I want an active retirement that includes hiking, bicycling, yoga and tap dance.”
