Biology 10

This BIO10 course is offered in a HYBRID format.  What does this mean?  It means the course is taught both synchronously and asynchronously.

  • Asynchronous Portion is the part of the course that is done at home on your own schedule. Each week you do your work any days/ any times. Just be mindful of weekly deadlines.
    • Weekly, prerecorded video lessons are available each week on canvas.  View them from home or where ever you want.
    • Each video lesson has embedded quiz questions.  So be sure to not miss any video lessons or you'll miss these points.
    • Homework and reading assignments are also done from home.
  • Synchronous Portion is the part of the course that is on campus, face to face.
    • Students are required to attend one lab per week on campus.
    • Download the weekly lab work onto your device or print it so that you can participate with your peers in lab
    • Lab work is found in each weekly module on canvas.
