Quantum Mechanics is a branch of physics that tells us how the Universe works. It provides a set of laws that we believe is followed by everything. For over a hundred years, it has been a resounding success to our understanding of things at the sub-atomic scale, which affects our daily lives. Although complex, it is an elegant & exciting subject that can be explained to the beginner in a non-technical, non-mathematical, way.

In this class, we will discuss the history of quantum theory, review examples of its application, review how it applies to our daily lives and its far-reaching effects on the weird and non-intuitive phenomena that is part of our elegant Universe. To enjoy this class, you just need to be curious and interested in the world. All complex subjects will be carefully explained in non-mathematical terms and visuals.
