District schools and provided over 4,100 student-hours

exhibitions. Over 400 students participated in field
trips facilitated by Euphrat artist/teachers.
Extended Year
Program is offered in several Cupertino Union
School District elementary and middle schools. Around
600 students were provided during-school fee-based
art instruction.
Arts & Schools
Program Community Exhibitions and Events
enables elementary school students to grow in self-esteem
through public recognition of their work. We have
placed rotating exhibits throughout the year at
elementary and middle schools, the Sunnyvale Library,
the Cherry Blossom Festival in Cupertino, and other
community venues. An estimated 11,000 people viewed
these exhibitions.
Annual Collaborative
Art Project addresses community themes. For
example, the art project Keeping
the Dream Alive: Fair Housing for All received
awards from Project Sentinel, a fair housing advocacy
organization, and is currently on display at Sunnyvale
City Hall.
New Partnership with the Quinlan Community Center in Cupertino, began in September 2003, offered after-school and weekend art classes for children and youth year-round.
