Supreme Air is focused on providing energy efficient cooling and heating systems, improving air quality in the built environment, and reducing levels of fossil fuel related energy by installing solar and radiant heating systems.

Internships with Supreme Air systems will provide students the ability to assist with installations and maintenance of heating, cooling, air quality, renewable energy and radiant heating systems. Students will see, experience and understand the importance of energy efficiency, sustainability and air quality in the built environment.

You will ride along with a service, installation or maintenance technician and assist on the various tasks to be completed that day. Internship hours for this job would be Monday-Friday only. Supreme Air does NOT WORK ON WEEKENDS! Your day will start at 7:30 AM and end at 5:00PM. Once you are out on the job, you are out for the entire day. There are no partial days allowed.

Internships with Supreme Air Systems will allow you to put your classroom education in the following Energy Management and Building Science classes into practice:

  • ES 58 Green Building
  • ES 70 / 70B- Energy Management Technology
  • ES 71 / 71B- Building Envelope
  • ES 72 /72B HVAC
  • ES 75 /75B Electric Power Systems
  • ES 76 Energy Star Products
  • ES 76A Solar Thermal Systems
  • ESCI 61- Intro to PV Technology 

Our goal is not to turn you into a service or maintenance technician or solar installer unless that is your career path. This opportunity will give you a complete understanding of efficient energy systems, indoor air quality and the value alternative and renewable energy systems have in reducing greenhouse gases and providing a cleaner form of energy to allow us to make buildings more safe, sustainable and energy efficient.
