- March 20, 2009 -- Please have a look at the latest edition of the Title III Newsletter.

activities!

February 25, 2009 – The Math Team is currently
working on organizing a Math Faculty Retreat covering various topics
regarding Developmental Math Basic Skills students from content, to
pedagogy, to relevant issues in Math Education. In addition, we are also
in the process of hiring a Supervisor for the Math and Science Tutorial
Center to provide strong leadership for programming and innovation. The
Math Modules initiative, a computerized adapted learning tool, is
currently underway with the leadership of Anne Leskinen, who has
received tremendous support and interest from the Math department and
faculty. Also, the Teaching & Learning Conference Committee has held
their first meeting; time, location and content discussions were
started. To also enhance transparency efforts, all necessary documents
will be reviewed, revised and posted to the Title III website.
