A.A.T - Communication Studies

Steps to completion

1.     While completing your courses for the Communication Studies AA-T degree meet with a Communication Studies full-time faculty member to discuss course options. Begin this process as early as possible to ensure that you meet the necessary requirements.


Associate of Arts in Communication Studies for Transfer (A.A.-T.)


Things to keep in mind:

1.    You must complete all courses with a grade of "C" or higher. 

2.    You may also complete courses with a grade of "Pass" if the class is taken on a Pass/No Pass basis, as long as the "Pass" is equal to a C or greater.

3.  Courses marked with (H) may be offered as an Honors course.

4.  Students under the minimum units for the major will need to complete six courses instead of five from section II.

    I:  Complete ONE (1) course from the following

Fundamentals of Oral Communication

    II:  Complete FIVE (5) courses from the following
