De Anza's Computer Information Systems Facilities.
The Computer Information Systems facilities include class rooms for traditional instructional presentation, "wired" classrooms for presentations requiring instructor and student computer use, distance learning (see Distance Learning Cener), and a large open laboratory in the Advanced Technical Center (ATC).
For classes requiring students to work on a computer, CIS maintains a large computer facility in the Advanced Technology Center. Located in room AT203, the facility includes over 250 networked computers.
The information phone number is provided for remote access students to report system problems or check on system status. It is not a help desk: Student assistants monitoring the phone cannot provide technical support. Also, because the lab has no facilities to locate students who may be in the area, it cannot be used to contact students.
