De Anza Summer Soccer Camps 2008 (PDF) NSCAA All-America Nomination Form (PDF) HEAD COACH - KULWANT SINGH Kulwant Singh is currently the Head Men’s Soccer Coach at De Anza College. Kulwant has compiled a fourteen-year overall men’s record of 224-46-41, and a seven-year (1991-1997) overall women’s record of 117-12-12 for a combined record of 341 wins 58 losses 53 ties at De Anza College.
De Anza College Men's Soccer team has been the Coast Conference/Division Champion nine times, in the State Final Four six times, and in 1994 and 1997 were the California State Champion. In 1994, Kulwant was named the Men's Community College West Region Coach of the Year. In both 1994 and 1996, Kulwant was named the Women's Community College National Coach of the Year. In 1997, Kulwant was named the California Community College Men's State Coach of the Year. In 2001, Kulwant was named Coast Conference Coach of the Year. Prior to his position at De Anza, Kulwant was the Assistant Coach of both the Men's and Women's Soccer Teams at Cal State Hayward. While at Cal State Hayward, Kulwant helped the men win four Northern California Athletic Conference (NCAC) Championships and helped the women win six NCAC Championships. In 1988, the Cal State Hayward Women won the Division II National Championships. Kulwant has been involved in the Olympic Development Program (ODP) for the California Youth Soccer Association (CYSA), 200,000+ registered player organization, for the past 18 years. During part of that time, Kulwant served as the ODP Technical Director and Boy's Administrator for the Olympic Development Program in Northern California.
Kulwant holds the prestigious USSF "A" License and the NSCAA Premier License. He also holds a Master's Degree in Physical Education and Kinesiology, specializing in Curriculum and Administration. Additionally, Kulwant served as the Assistant Competition Manager for World Cup USA 94 at the Stanford Venue. At this venue there were 6 crowds with over 84,000 people in attendance.
