Winter Updates

Both Men's and Women's Basketball Make NorCal Regional Playoffs

Congratulations to both De Anza basketball teams for making the NorCal Regional Playoffs. De Anza will be hosting playoff games on Wednesday, Feb. 27 in the Main Gym at De Anza.

The De Anza Men's Basketball team will play San Jose City at 5:30 p.m.
The De Anza Women' Basketball team will play Cosumnes River at 7:30 p.m.
 
Games tickets are $8 for General Admission and $5 for students, faculty, staff, senior citizens age 60 and over, and children less than 12 years of age.
 
Congratulations to coaches Jason Damjanovic (Men's Basketball) and Arden Kragalott, (Women's Basketball), their teams and coaching staffs.

Two De Anza Teams Honored for 2011-2012 Scholar  Achievements

Congratulations to coaches Danielle Von Matt (Women's Water Polo) and Rachel Pacheco (Softball) for having their teams selected by the California Community College Athletics Association (CCCAA) as California Scholar-Teams this year. These awards recognize the academic achievements of teams from the 2011-12 school year.

The teams will be acknowledged at the CCCAA Convention in San Mateo in late March, 2013.
These are De Anza College's 11th and 12th scholar-teams.
 
Danielle's 2011 Women's Water Polo team had a 3.19 team GPA. Rachel's 2012 Softball team had a team 3.15 GPA.
