Chris Malloy: 4th Season
Assistant Coach
Coach Malloy is entering his fourth season with the DeAnza Dons Men's Basketball program and is Head Coach Jason Damjanovic's lead assistant. Coach Malloy is involved in all aspects of the program, to include on-court coaching, practice and game planning and recruiting. Malloy is adept at coaching all positions on the floor, with an emphasis on post player development, and coordinates the Dons' defensive efforts.
Malloy hails from southern California where he was a successful coach in the JC ranks for 9 years at both Fullerton and Antelope Valley Colleges. Coach Malloy brings a no nonsense style to the Dons that is evident in his defensive approach. Malloy is attention to detail oriented and is a key part of the Dons' consistency over the past three years.
Chris Malloy is married with two daughters and is a high school Adaptive Physical Education Instructor.

Phillip White: 1st Season
Assistant Coach
Coach Phillip White is in his first year with the DeAnza Men's Basketball program. Coach White will be involved in all aspects of the program including practice and game planning, scouting and recruiting and on-court coaching, with an emphasis on guard and wing player development. Coach White also coordinates the Dons' strength and conditioning program.
Coach White comes to DeAnza after a successful head coaching career, at all levels of high school boys basketball, along with J.C. coaching experience. White has 231 total high school wins including 129 as a varsity head coach [Overfelt (2003-2007), Menlo-Atherton (2007-2010), Woodside (2011-2012)]. White has led teams to five CCS Play-off appearances, including two CCS Semi-finals, one CCS Final and one Nor-Cal quarter-final. Coach White served as an assistant coach for one-season (2010-2011) at CaƱada College (Redwood City, Calif.) where he was involved in all aspects of on-court coaching, recruiting and post player development, while helping the Colts to a 20-6 overall record, a second-place finish in the Coast Conference-North, with an 8-4 mark and a final No. 7 ranking in the California Community College Athletic Association coaches poll.
Coach White is married to the former Mary Anne Paguyo and has two daughters, Isa and Alyssa. They reside in San Jose with their two dogs, Tangles & Mister. White works full time for the City of San Jose.

Eric Davis: 1st Season
Assistant Coach
Operations/Managers/Red Shirt Player Development
Coach Davis is in his first season at DeAnza College. Davis will be involved in all aspects of the program: on-court coaching, practice and game planning and recruiting. Coach Davis will assist with post player development. He will also assist with day to day practice operations, including coordinating team manger activities, red shirt player development and strength and conditioning.
Coach Davis prepped at San Benito High School (Hollister), where he was a stand out guard and all-league performer. He continued his playing career at U.C. Santa Cruz, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Global Economics and a Masters of Arts Degree in Education. Davis served as the lead assistant, at Gilroy High School, over the past two years, and has been teaching in the Gilroy Unified School District during that period.
